Darco, is a combination of
2 pillars of the Belgian breeding business : Lugano and Codex. The sire
Lugano van La Roche has had a splendid breeding record. The Lugano son,
La Ina, ridden by Peter Charles, won the European Championship in 1995.
Flugel daughters crossed with Lugano proved the match of the era,
generating world eminences such as Porche, Pluco, Pico and Egano which
won Olympic medals, top Grand Prix and championships. After his Flugel
period, Lugano enthusiastically devoted himself to partners from the
lineage of Holstein Cottage Son. Codex was a top class sport horse
producer himself, and it can be no surprise that this combination
produced phenomena such as Darco. Also in his female offspring Lugano
has done well, as demonstrated by his daughters producing, for example,
Forester, Fidelgo, Goliath and Joli Fleur de Lys, all with good
international sport reputations. Amongst Darco’s many successes are:
Champion of Belgium as a 5 year old. Winner of the Belgian Championship
as a 6 year old. Winner Volvo World Cup in London 1988 and in
Hertogenbosch in 1989. 6th in the World Championships in Stockholm in
1990 and 7th place in the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 and 2nd in the
richest Grand Prix in the world at Calgary. PROGENY Darco has produced
many offspring jumping successfully around the world. He currently has
seven representatives in the BCM World Ranking for Showjumping of which
King Darco is the leader. Darco has proven to be very consistent in
breeding his youngstock, three of which have reached the Top 15 of the
finals of the Belgian Classic Young Horse Championships. He has sired
the promising stallions Parco, Fedor and King Darco, who competed in the
Atlanta Olympics with Ludo Philipearts.

Chalan
IN STOCK !
Bay Holstein
Stallion, 16.1 1/2 (Chambertin
- Caroulus I - Calypso I )
Chalan
confirmed the high esteem he enjoyed again in 2006 by receiving the
"Promising Stallion" award given at the International Stallion Show in
Zwolle and winning advanced level tests. He took third place in the
Sires of the World jumping competition at the World Championships for
young jumpers in Lanaken and finished second at the State Championships
in Rastede. Chalan took second place in the Grand Prix for youngsters in
Verden and also won the Hermann Schridde prize for the best style. In
2005 Chalan participated in the World Championships for young jumpers in
Lanaken and placed in Grand Prix at national and International
competitions.
In 2003
at the Holstein State Champion Chalan was two-time
Bundeschampionat finalist . He was also the undisputed winner of
his 30-day test in Prussendorf in 2001 where he achieved the
highest index in
jumping as well as dressage.
Chalan's
first crops of foals were convincing with their dark coats, striking
type, good-sized frames and strong movements. Many were selected for
auctions.
Chalan is one of the first sons by the still young sireChambertin, who won the final qualification at the
Bundeschampionat as a five and six year old. When bred to Chambertin's
sire, Cambridge, the dam, Fucera, produced a premium stallion
called Chateau. Her sire, Carolus I, was a successful
international sport horse and is deemed one of the leading performance
sires today. Calypso I is especially known for his many top
off-spring in dressage. This is also the line of the approval winners
Rocadero and Laurenz as well as the sires Levantos I and
II (each
Reserve Champion at approval) and of the exceedingly successful
Catoki.
Licensed for Holstein, Oldenburg, Oldenburg-International, Hanover and
practically all German Verbands. International societies upon request
A
brilliant movement genius with select ancestors! Stedinger's
second crop up for licensing again produced high priced stallions such
as the shiny black premium stallion in Münster-Handorf who brought the
second highest price of 160,000 Euros. After his sensational debut in
2006 with his imposing son Status Quo who became Champion
Stallion, further sons were licensed in Vechta and Neustadt/Dosse. In
Mecklenburg he presented a premium stallion and at the Deutsche
Sportpferd licensing in Prussendorf a further son was licensed. So far,
Stedinger is the sire of twelve licensed sons. His first riding
horses have been sold at auctions and the demand for his foals has not
slowed down – in Verden nine of his off-spring were in the auction,
making him one of the main "suppliers". Five of his foals have qualified
for the German Foal Championships and several mares are State Premium
candidates. Three of these mares were selected for the Elite Broodmare
Show in Rastede where one finished in the Brillantring. Status Quo
finished the Oldenburg Stallion Championships as the Reserve Champion,
beaten only by a slim margin. Stedinger was the undisputed Champion Stallion of the licensing
event during the Oldenburg Hengsttage in 2002 and the first Reserve
Champion for the main premium in 2004. After winning many dressage tests
at medium (M) level, he is now being trained by Dieter Weichert for the
next level in dressage. In spite of a heavy breeding load, Stedinger
did an outstanding job at his 70-day test in Neustadt/Dosse, finishing
with a total index of 131 (dressage 130.72 / jumping 121.92) and
qualified in 2005 for the Bundeschampionat in the class for German
dressage horses in Warendorf. Stedinger is another fine product from the endeavors of the
Sosath breeding station and is a half-brother on his dam's side to
Donninger who was licensed in 2004. His dam VPr.St. Bold-Fantasy is
a full sister of the dressage stallion Lamar H and a half-sister
of the CIC** winning event horse, Just Me H. The line of the
Champion Stallion Waldsee (dressage Inter. I) is also known for
the Grand Prix horses Andrew, Armagnac and Inschallah B
as well as Tansanid, dressage team silver at the 1984 Olympic
Games with Christine Stückelberger/CH.
Licensed for Oldenburg, Hanover and nearly all other German
Verbands
A truly exceptional sire,Landor S
is
continuously sharpening his profile as a top sire who belongs in a
special class. His off-spring have long reached the international stage
– Lobster and Lara G won many ribbons in Grand Prix under
Sören Pedersen in 2007. Lauterbach, the 2004 OS Champion
Stallion, was victorious in the 2007 French Championships and Lagero
became State Champion and Weser-Ems Champion with Gerd Wehlau.
Among Landor S' off-spring is the European Championships gold
winning Loriot S (Tobias Meyer) as well as the internationally
successful sport horses Lord G, Loup Garou, Grandora
and Leoville.
At a
price of 101,000 Euros, a non-licensed stallion son Of landor S
was the highest priced horse in Marbach, at the Deutsche Sportphorse
licensing another Landor S son was licensed, and in Oldenburg
many licensed and premium stallions are from Landor S daughters.
Landor S has sired more than 30 licensed sons so far.
His
daughter Lady Heida was the 2002 German Champion Mare with
emphasis on jumping.
Landor S was also an exceptional stallion in sport. After his victory in
the Bundeschampionat in 1997, he also won the VTV Jumper Stallion of the
Year award before winning many advanced (S) level tests.
His sire Landadel is responsible for a large number of champion
stallions and Fein Cera was the best horse at the 2002 World
Championships. Numerous top sport horses as well as the international
show jumper Laertes and his full brothers, Landwerder and
Lagoheidor, both successful in Grand Prix dressage, also come from this
highly successful line.
Licensed for Oldenburg, Oldenburg-International, Hanover,
Westphalia, southern German Verbands, Berlin-Brandenburg,
Sachsen-Anhalt, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and
Austria
Lordanos comes from a line of highly successful jumping horses, such
as the incidental Lou, with Franc Sloothaak, who was repeatedly unbeaten
in the International Youngster tour and the CHIO in Aachen. He was also
triumphant with Janne Sosath in the Big tour and jumped flawlessly over
two meters in the Puissance.
In
2007 a high amount of Lordanos offspring qualified for the
Bundeschampionat. Offspring continue success, after Lumos's
victory in Warendorf in 2004, Light On was a high placed finalist
in the class for five year olds in 2007. A Lordanos son, top
priced Verden auction horse Lohengrin became the Hanoverian Show
Jumper Champion and another son won the licensing in Finland. Among
Lordanos offspring you also find Lord, a successful
Three-Star horse, multiple Grand Prix winner Laokoon, Loriot,
who won the Italian Show Jumping Championships as well as Lord SandroDDH, the Oldenburg Vice Champion under Ulli Kirchhoff.
In
Verden Lordanos had the second Reserve Champion with emphasis on
jumping and in Oldenburg a premium stallion by Lordanos sold for
125,000 Euros along with another licensed son.
The number of licensed
Lordanos
sons has risen to more than 20. In Switzerland, one of his foals won the
Championships of Avenches. Lordanos
has exceeded highest expectations in the breeding shed and has proven
to consistantly pass on his willingness to perform, rideability and
ability to jump.
Lordanos began his career by winning
a series of nearly 40 tests for young jumpers. Since the age of eight he
has been successful in advanced (S) level competitions – as a "family
horse", winning advanced (S) level tests with all three of the Sosaths
that ride. Inbred over the famous and high profiled "Ramiro
line" Stamm 776,
Lordanos
is nearly a guarantee for producing maximum performance traits.
Licensed for:
Holstein, Oldenburg, Oldenburg internationally, Hanover, Westphalia,
southern German associations, Berlin Brandenburgs, Saxony-Anhalt,
Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria
A
sovereign champion with generous lines, very refined, beautiful type
with a super character. Quality is always willing to perform and
has firmly established himself in advanced level competition. In 2007
under Hendrik Sosath he won and placed among the best at many
competitions, including Höven, the Salut Festival in Aachen, the
International Oldenburg Pferdetage and in Verden. His career as a show
jumper has been blessed with many highlights. At his 30-day test in
Prussendorf he received high scores between 9.0 and 10.0. During 2004
and 2005 Quality was highly successful at the Bundeschampionat,
winning a qualification with a 9.0! He
successfully participated twice at the World Championships for show
jumpers in Lanaken, Belgium.
Quality passes on his excellent traits to his off-spring. In 2007
his licensed sons at the licensing for Springpferdezuchtverband
Oldenburg-International and in Münster-Handorf were convincing over the
jump as well as in hand. A large number of his foals have been sold at
various auctions. One of his foals took the champion title at the foal
show in Elmshorn and after his first crops were evaluated, Quality
received an estimated breeding value of 161 points.
As a
grandson of the world class sire Quidam de Revel from the direct
line of the famous Roman, Quality has a very select
pedigree. His sire Quinar presented two outstanding premium
stallions at the Holstein licensing in 2003 with a class seldom seen in
jumping – one was sold for 400,000 Euros, the highest price.
Quality's dam's sire Lantaan is sire of the Champion Stallion
Lucky Lionell, a strong mover trained up to a high level in
dressage. Quality's dam Cordelia also produced the
licensed stallions Legendär I and II (both at the State Stud in
Schwaiganger).
Licensed for Holstein, Oldenburg, Oldenburg-International, Hanover and
nearly all other German Verbands; international upon request
A
stallion with a very special aura. Ludwig von Bayern has no
limits when it comes to technique, ability, bascule, willingness to
perform and rideability.
His
son Ludwigs As, a multiple winner in tests for young jumpers in
elementary (L) level, was awarded the main premium in Vechta. His
daughter Luca advanced through the ranks at the Elite Broodmare
Show to become the Reserve Champion Mare of Springpferdezuchtverband
Oldenburg-International (OS). Even after his sensational second crop
which culminated in the OS Champion Stallion in 2006, Ludwig von
Bayern repeatedly proves his exceptional status as a sire. Another
son was licensed at the Deutsche Sportpferd licensing in Prussendorf and
yet another at the late Oldenburg licensing.
Ludwig von Bayern is an imposing, highly expressive athlete with
dynamic movements and a quality at the jump seldom seen: A major sire of
international format is in the making! Decorated with the I-c main
premium in 2004, Ludwig von Bayern won the international Stallion
Show Jumping competition in Denekamp in 2006 and qualified for the
Bundeschampionat when he was five as well as when he was six after
winning numerous tests for young jumpers. At his 30-day test as well,
this large framed, powerful stallion received the highest score of 10.0
for rideability and 9.5 for jumping. But he can also perform flying
changes every two strides and pirouettes just as well.
Ludwig von Bayern's pedigree has been perfectly trimmed for
performance through the top sire Landor S as well as the top
Westphalian sires Pilot and Damokles. His dam is a full
sister to the private Bavarian stallion Lanacar. This line also
produced the stallion Donadoni, Iroko (NL), Pinoccio,
Graf Aramis and Internationally successful show jumper, Aramis
(Franke Sloothaak).
Licensed for Oldenburg, Oldenburg-International, Hanover and nearly all
other German Verbands; international upon request
